How to: Change drive compression ratio.
Solution:
From the 'Start' menu select 'Programs', 'Accessories', 'System Tools' and 'DriveSpace'. Select 'Advanced' from the menu bar and then select 'Change Ratio'. Use slider bar to change estimated ratio.
To change the estimated compression ratio:
1) Click the 'Start' button to display the 'Start' menu.
2) Select 'Programs' and select 'Accessories'.
Select 'Accessories' from the 'Programs' menu
3) Select 'System Tools' menu and select 'DriveSpace'.
4) Select a compressed drive from the 'Drives on this computer' list box.
5) Select the 'Advanced' menu and select 'Change Ratio...'. (The 'Compression Ratio' dialog box appears.)
6) Move the slider bar to change the estimated compression ratio.
7) Click 'OK'.
